A mid 19th century gilt and patinated bronze mounted antico verdi marble mantel clock, Naudin & Bazelaire, surmounted by a seated figure of Justinian over the double plinth base with applied ormolu mounts, the 3.75 inch engine turned silvered dial with Roman chapter ring and blued steel moon hands, signed Naudin Bronzier and Bazelaire horlogère, the two train drum movement with silk suspension and outside countwheel strike on a bell, height 22.25in.

Overall very good condition. Dial with some oxidisation. Movement complete with key and pendulum but not tested for timekeeping.
Some occasional minor spotting and wear to the patination on the figure, a few tiny edge chips to the marble, the movement looks clean and complete but does stop after a short time, with key and pendulum.
