One of the carved guards has broken and there are 2 other guards missing. The fan leaf is in good condition. There are no splits or stains. The lacquer box has a side edge missing to the lid top of box. Various dents bruises and lacquer is missing in places. The interior paper on the base is torn and the painted silk to interior of lid has a hole.
