Oil on hardboard which is showing some undulation and a notable break running from 12 o'clock diagonally to the right for approx. 16 inches, this work has clearly been neglected over the years with some water staining showing on the back of the board and general dirt, scuffing and grubbiness to the front, work is not signed.
Provenance ; the vendors' father Francis Norford worked for (and was a director of) Barnett Norford - commercial artists, photographers etc
They did adverts for Dulux , designed wrappers and chocolate box covers for Cadbury's, Matchbox toys etc.
Francis knew Terence Cuneo and was given the work by him.
The vendor is happy to put this in writing to the buyer.
