An Iznik pottery dish, Turkey c.1680 - 1720, painted with flowers and foliage within a scroll work border, diameter 29cm

In reasonable condition, there is a hairline crack extending through the rim approximately 2.5 - 3 inches, there are numerous glaze losses to the rim where the iron hanging frame has corroded and dug into the glaze and in parts into the body of the bowl leaving small rounded chips, the interior of the bowl is lightly crazed with some slight abrasions and some smaller losses to the glaze on the inner rim. The foot rim has been drilled through.
