A Chinese kraak blue and white dish, c.1680-1700, finely painted to the centre with a grasshopper amid rockwork and flowers, the border with oranges to the cavetto and the underside of the dish with birds on branches, diameter 28cm

There is a short hairline crack to the rim on one side, iron spots and some areas of adhesion to the glaze to the front and back. There are typical glaze losses around the edge of the rim, otherwise in good condition.
