Both oils on high quality wooden panels, stormier image - varnish looks to be a little off colour, one or two very fine but stable lines of craquelure in the sky, signed lower right. Other image has two fine horizontal splits running approx 1 inch down from the top left corner almost two thirds of the way across the work, these are very fine and appear to have seen a little retouching at the left end, otherwise good condition. Under glass in later gilt frames, no labels or inscriptions verso.
