Lot 859 , A George III mahogany longcase clock
A George III mahogany longcase clock
Estimate £150-200
Movement looks clean but we cannot guarantee it is running. Probably associated movement and dial as the dial sits too high on the seat board to line up with glazed door. Extensive worm to top of back board and sides of hood. Split to box base with later applied cross over the top. Various re-stuck veneers to hood door. Trunk door is locked and the key is missing. Comes with winder, pendulum and pair of lead weights.
