Estimate £800-1,200
Overall an even rich reddy brown finish, the top has almost certainly been repolished within the past 10 - 20 years or so and now shows small dents scuffs and scratches commensurate with use, sides in a similar condition, the left side with a little light scuffing, handles look to be the originals, gilding looks appropriate and they fit the original holes, escutcheons thought to be later. Some small dents and losses to the cockbeading of all five drawers, the divider between the short drawers and the top of the drawer below shows a patched repair where a drawer has been forced at some point. There is further damage in the same location to the lower dividers. Blind fret carving looks good, feet are well worn and quite possibly original, overall a handsome model, perhaps one could wish for a slightly more original patina.
