Estimate £200-300
Provenance: from the collection of the Reverend Henry Clarke active in the second half 19th century.
There are a number of shrinkage cracks including one large open crack from the rim of the base approx 6cm into one of the carved panels of the seated Christ, there is a second long crack about 7cm but is largely noticeable on the inside rather than the outside, there is one further open crack behind a figures shoulder and this appears to have laminated and looks almost more like a tear, the whole base of the pot is missing, and the interior is stained.
