A second quarter of the 19th century French ormolu portico clock, of characteristic form, with 4 inch engine turned Roman dial and two train spring barrel movement with anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on a bell, 19in.

Case in good condition with some wear to the gilding to the extremities and some occasional light surface scratches, the dial is in good order apart from the painted numerals which are faded and the signature which is also faded, the hands are in good order, the movement has not been cleaned for quite a long time but the plates are still polished, it functions, the bell will require adjusting so that the hand strikes it, it will require a clean or overhaul.
