Oil on canvas relined 30 - 40 years ago or more, canvas remains tight, may well be cut down to some extent, there is a trace of an oval showing to each corner, paint rather dirty with a little fine craquelure showing in the flesh tones but has certainly been flattened by the relining process. Housed in an old gilt gesso frame with some losses throughout, details of sitter inscribed verso.
