A Chinese red lacquer low table, carved in relief with peacocks and pine to the top and flowers to the sides, on four cabriole feet, 42cm long x 29.5cm deep

The table appears to be carved wood which is then covered in a thin layer of red lacquer, there is noticeable split to the right side of the top and a finer split through the centre of the top, there is some shrinkage around the joints on all of the legs and the frieze, evidence of some old glue where has been put back together, otherwise in good condition.
