Estimate £500-800

Overall a honest piece in need of some cosmetic attention, top is of a good rich colour and has a very slight undulation with a little flaking in the varnish which is lifting near the top right corner, also missing the veneering from the front top right corner, arch to the kneehole is faded with bloomed varnish, other short drawer fronts look in need of a little repolishing and recolouring, handles look to be original, lock is present to the top drawer but no key, equally kneehole door esctucheon is hanging loose, lock looks original but no key, hinges to this door are also coming in loose, inside of kneehole in need of repolishing, both sides of the desk are somewhat faded, moulding above and veneer to the feet has suffered from some losses, scuffing and denting, overall a handsome piece that should restore to good effect.
