A Chinese rosewood stand, 19th century, the front carved with stylised chi-dragons and tight scrolls, the end panels with relief carved ruyi-head motifs, width 23cm

The wood is sunbleached. The two scrolled ends have bowed inward. The joints have been re-stuck as has the right hand section of the frieze. There is some old filler to the underside of the frieze and a chip to the back edge of the top.
