An Art Deco jewelled enamel case, Gorham, dated March 26, 1924, cut cornered rectangular form, enamelled in cream with scarlet borders, top and base, the front with scarlet enamel thumbpiece and panel set within a rose diamond set frame, the interior with inner pierced tray attached to the hinge to raise cigarettes, the rim inscribed 'Pat. Mar 26 1924' and further struck 14K, height 3in.

This is gold not gold plated.
A fine hairline crack running in the cream enamel to the left of the thumbpiece, this runs for approximately half an inch down into the main body and through the cream strip that forms part of the lid, one small chip to the red enamel on the back left upper corner, otherwise looks to be in good original condition, thumbpiece operates a sprung lid.
Gross weight is 145.8 grams.
