A pair of late George II cast silver candlesticks by Thomas Whipham and Charles Wright, with panelled knopped stems and engraved crest, London, 1758, 23.8cm, 45 oz.

1st candlestick- Stem very slightly off centre. Small dent to top edge of candlestick. Small engraved armorial on base corner and inner top of sconce. Sconce base is slightly misshapen with a couple of nicks. A couple of small nicks to one side of the base. Condition is otherwise good with clear hallmarks to the base.
2nd candlestick- Small dent to top edge of candlestck also along with a couple of nicks. Same engraved armorials, the one on the sconce is tired. Several small dents around the base of the sconce (quite misshapen). Small dent to one corner of the base.Condition is otherwise good. Hallmarks on base clear. They are the same height.
