George Fitch recorded in Gravesend c.1840.
Case is of a good even rich mid mahogany tone, one or two tiny dents and scuffed scratches scattered throughout but overall good, brass inlay is all intact and properly inset, dial in good clean order, slight oxidisation to hands, movement complete and in good order, comes with two case keys and the original all brass pendulum and a later winding key. Comes with note stating fusee movement with wire shouldered footed plates and knopped pillars, not tested for timekeeping but looks to be in good working order.
