A Chinese greyish-white jade cup or brushwasher, carved in high relief with a chi-dragon, a bat and a lion-dog amid lingzhi fungus, the stone with some russet veining, 12cm, wood stand

The cup has natural inclusions to the stone which the carver has incorporated into the design, otherwise in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, the wood stand has been later carved with a depression in which to fit the cup.
