Estimate £300-500

Back, sides and front retain a good rich dark mahogany brown colour, top is rather faded, ebonised banding in fair order to the sides, top banding faded, banding to the back differs in style, front does not have any banding, shows some damage to the lower left corner, one escutcheon is oxidised and there are other holes around it suggesting that this might be a later replacement, lock looks original, two screws missing from one side, no key present, internal drawers with some small losses to the reeded ebony banding, but essentially good, central compartment lacks a key, and has a "secret" compartment to the base, base drawer doesn't quite push fully to the back, drop front door to the front does not hold in place due to the lack of a key operating the lock, side handles look like they once had loops that are now missing.
