oil on wooden panel
Interior with woman cooking beside a hearth
23.25 x 15in.
Estimate £300-500

Oil on board, a few light splashes of dirt across the work which wipe away, more notably an L shaped fine split running from to the left of the green pan down to approx. 1 inch above the margin and then running across all the way to the right hand side, should retouch without too much difficulty, possibly another fine split just starting to run down to the left of 12 o'clock, otherwise might need a light clean, housed in an old ornate gilt scroll frame which has lost some of the moulding, Aitken Dott & Son label verso.
