A Persian white metal desk seal, engraved and chased with boteh and foliage, inset with an engraved carnelian talismanic matrix, 3.2in.

The undecorated parts of the seal (top and bottom) have visible nicks and scratches, so it would be safe to assume there are similar within the decoration although not clearly visble. There is no visible damage to the carnelian stone. Overall ciondition is generally good commensurate with age and some use.
