A good Chinese bronze rectangular censer, fangding, 18th century, with a pair of fretwork handles, on four shaped feet, archaistic four character seal mark to base, silver wire inlaid fitted hongmu stand with keywork frieze, vacant plaque, 13.2cm width to handles 15cm

The censer has been later polished with some polish residue within the seal mark and around the bracket feet and handles, numerous small dents and minor casting faults to the walls, the wood stand is cracked and has a loss to the upper edge, one side of the stand has a vacant cartouche where there was once a plaque pinned on, now lacking. Weight : 2.1kg
There are no obvious casting faults at all just minor dents and scratches.
