Th case has an old lady printed with the name Sir Clive Coates, Bart 14 Sussex Square, London, which corresponds with the CC monogram on the case. Also written in pen is "The dressing case of the Lady Celia Milnes Coats?, the daughter of the Marquess of Crewe".
