Lot 570 , An early 20th century Indian silver presentation scroll case

An early 20th century Indian silver presentation scroll case

An early 20th century Indian silver presentation scroll case and stand, relating to Frederick William Hansen Esq. Traffic Superintendent of the Bombay Baroda & Central India Railway, with engraved inscription, the case supported by a foliate stem on a domed base and embossed with various country and town scenes with figures, the case containing related citation, the base lacking two animal figures? case 15.5in, gross 48 oz.
Estimate £200-300

Judging by the two sets of vacant holes to the domed base two items are now missing, probably figures or animals?? There is a largish dent to the base, causing it to be slightly out of shape. It is also a little wobbly when placed on a flat surface. The scroll case also has a small dent to the top right corner of the engraved inscription. The item would benefit from a good clean, otherwise the overall condition is good.
