Two Japanese ivory netsuke of wrestlers, 19th century, the first of two arm wrestlers seated on a rush mat, the rope cords carved beneath them, three character sosho signature to a plaque, 'Shokyusai', 4.2cm, the second of two sumo wrestlers, one being lifted by the other, unsigned, 6.8cm

Netsuke of two arm wrestlers has some slight wear to their faces otherwise in good condition but generally grubby, and the second of sumo wrestlers has a replacement right foot to the standing figure, this is an old restoration done some time ago with some old glue around the area.
