A Victorian Aesthetic Movement decorated oak chiffonier designed by A.W.Blomfield and illustrated in Charles Locke Eastlake's Hints on Household Taste with stencilled fox and goose and flower decoration possibly by Clement Heaton. Hinges made in the form of flesh, fish and fowl, W.3ft 3in. D.1ft 6in. H.5ft 5in.

Overall in very good clean condition of rich mid brown to golden oak tone, a little light scattered surface dirt but nothing that will not polish away, hinges have a silvered finish which is slightly rubbed through, escutcheon similarly so, locks is quite possibly a later replacement but comes with two keys, otherwise all looks to be in good original condition, main top slightly lighter in colour than the rest of the piece with one or two old signs of wear, comes from a private collection, the same for lots 378, 380 and 381.
