A pair of Meissen figural candlesticks, late 19th century, each modelled with a cherub and a maiden emblematic of a season, painted in underglaze blue and highlighted in gilt, underglazed blue cross swords marks and incised model numbers 1197 and 1255, height 29cm, some losses

The first candlestick with female maiden holding a scythe as she is lacking the blade to the scythe and typical encrusted extensive losses to the flowers and leaves, a large section of the petal drip pan beneath the nozzle is lacking and there are two shallow chips to the edge of the base, the second candelabra has many typical small losses to the encrusted flowers and leaves and the figures of cherub is lacking his left foot, otherwise in good condition.
