A pair of early 18th century style brass and wrought iron andirons H. 28in.

A pair of early 18th century style brass and wrought iron andirons H. 28in.
Estimate £400-600

Depth 16 inches
Close inspection of these leaves us to conclude that they are 19th century copies rather than early 18th century originals, quality of the casting looks a little coarse and the attachments used for the iron brackets looks Victorian, otherwise intact and solid and ready for use.
