A Japanese porcelain ovoid vase, by Kanzan Denshichi (1821-1890) of Kyoto, Meiji Period, painted in coloured enamels and gilding with a sage evoking a dragon, the reverse with birds amid flowers, on a gilded brown ground, the base signed Dai Nihon Kanzan sei, 32cm, wear to gilding

There is wear to the gilding on the top rim and some wear to the gilding on the body all over more in certain areas than others, occasional minor scratches to the glaze otherwise in good condition.
