A pair of Wedgwood black basalt oval plaques, late 18th century, relief moulded with Hercules strangling the Nemean lion and another carrying the Erymanthian Boar, impressed marks Wedgwood only, 7.3in., one damaged

Plaque with Hercules and lion is in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, there appear to be some pencil lines on the back and some old silver paint residue, the second one with the boar has a re-glued splinter chip with associated splinter crack damage emanating from the area and a loss to the back of the plaque.
