Oil on canvas relined perhaps 20 to 30 years ago, canvas remains tight, paint looks a little dirty and shows a fine but stable craquelure throughout but overall looks to be in good order and should clean to good effect, no sign of any signature or inscriptions, housed in an 18th century giltwood frame which is a little tatty, labels verso - one for an old removal and storage company, the others handwritten and inscribed in 1995 this painting was valued by Hamptons at £3,000 - 4,000.
