The wall pockets with the blackbird and yellow nest have a large loss to a leaf lower left, and bears the impressed mark JR over L, the second wall pocket with the white bird is unmarked and has a smaller loss to the leaf in the same place and also a loss to a lead midway up in manufacture which has been overglazed and other minor losses including to the tail feather of the white bird.
