Oil on canvas which is starting to sag a little, paint looks rather dirty, a hint of stretcher marks besides one or two tiny little dots or retouching notably a small pinhead sized blue dot near the top left corner, dated and monogrammed lower right, 1874 TDJUNR, housed in a later gilt frame with artist plaque, attribution to Shoreham by Sea comes from the vendor who had it confirmed by Shoreham Port Authority however the catalogue who lives in Shoreham by Sea does not believe it to be this location so please make your own decision.
