Oil on canvas laid onto hardboard, extensive re-touching probably complete repainting at the top left corner, other lesser retouching in the lower corners and top right, signs of some craquelure running in the window near the right hand corner and towards the left side of the work, little noted elsewhere. Signature lower right, overall this has an appearance of a work that was probably once rolled up and rather neglected and has since been laid down onto the board backing to preserve it, housed in a recent gilt frame, overall a good decorative work.
