Oil on canvas laid on to a wooden panel, paint very dirty, some undulation showing to the canvas with a pronounced bulge at 3 o'clock and further evidence of a short retouched tear just above this, paint looks a little rubbed and may have had a fairly heavy clean in the past, title of work on the gilt slip, housed in the original gilt gesso frame which is very tatty, no inscriptions or labels verso.
