Image with cart with very slight outward bowing of canvas and a paint filled spot where a small hole has been knocked through near 9 o'clock, this has been retouched fairly effectively, otherwise paint looks a little dirty and would benefit from a clean, no sign of any craquelure, signed and dated '47 lower right, housed in a fairly modern simulated oak frame.
Companion piece in similar condition with three small paint filled holes viewable in our photograph of the back, dated '48, slight stretcher mark showing on the left but overall in good condition.
