James Lindley recorded 1805-1814

Case in honest but now rather scuffed condition, brass ware is all with a matted finish, case overall has a number of fine scuffs, scratches and dent marks with particular wear noted towards the top of the left hand side where fingers would have reached to open the door for winding, front door lacks a key for lock and doesn't not shut tight as it is springing slightly on the hinges, small chips to the ebonised surround front door notably around the lower left grill, dial looks original with notable cracks and repairs around the winding holes, the back door has a slither of veneer missing from the top left side and a small piece of moulding missing from the top right corner, movement looks original and untouched, has a repeat but the lever is not connected to a cable, bell may be later, backplate and pendulum all look to match, anchor escapement and movement.
