A late 19th/early 20th century Austro-Hungarian parcel gilt silver, gem set and enamel drop pendant necklace, the pendant modelled as two gem set enamelled birds, including two oval cut sapphires, overall 20in.

There is visible damage to the enamel on both sides of the pendant, birds neck and head, Some minor loss to the green enamel on the front side and minor loss to the green and blue enamel en verso. At least 5 of the small rubies have visible chips.
There are scrolling motifs with baroque pearl spacers along the length of the chain. Almost all of the pearls have blistered surfaces and two of the pearls are chipped. There is also some minor loss to some of the enamelling within the scrolling motifs.
