During the Qing dynasty the fish-dragon was emblematic of a wish for success in the civil service examinations.
Natural inclusions to the stone, there is a minute 1mm nick to the very top of the fin near the dragons head which can only be seen on very close inspection and with a thumbnail otherwise in excellent condition with no cracks or restoration, old collector's label.
