A 19th century French ormolu mantel clock, surmounted with a cavalier, the enamelled dial signed CF Petit, Paris, 14.5in.

Gilt bronze clock with thinner brass side panels. Finish is original slightly matted gilding. Figure has lost its sword and reins.
Movement signed as per the dial and numbered 161
No back door. Comes with pendulum but no key.
