A 19th century French ormolu mounted tulipwood and kingwood bijouterie cabinet, inset with five Sevres style porcelain plaques painted with flowers and exotic birds in landscapes, with rising top and fall front revealing four drawers over a base drawer, on cabriole legs, W.1ft 4in. D.1ft 1in. H.3ft 3in.

An interesting honest piece requiring some restoration particularly to the veneers, colour looks good and original, some fading to the top and to the front flap, some sections of veneer missing particularly from the top, original gilding to the ormolu mounts have now faded to a dull bronze colour, porcelain plaques all in very good order, interior lined in purple velvet, one ivory knob handle missing from the internal right hand drawer, no key present, one small corner of veneer missing from base drawer and legs equally with losses to veneering and dirt and water splash marks.
