A mid 18th century oak mule chest, fitted four dummy and four long drawers, with quarter column corners and panelled sides, on ogee feet, W.4ft 11in.

Pronounced old crack running through the lid which is also faded to a light golden colour, right side central panel has a fine hairline crack running vertically through it, top right dummy drawer front with losses to the corners of the moulding, handles all appear to be original as do the escutcheons, quarter columns are made from mahogany and retain the original brass caps, overall a good honest piece with the only real fault being the old split to the top.
