Two Chinese Yixing pottery cylindrical teapots and covers, late 19th century, the larger incised with a calligraphic inscription to one side, impressed seal mark, 17cm, the smaller with inner pierced percolator vessel, the body impressed with shou characters, impressed seal mark to base, 19.5cm

The larger teapot has a slightly loose fitting cover and there are two tiny shallow chips to the tip of the spout, the smaller teapot has a few tiny splinter chips on the outer edge and the inner edge, some slightly larger shallow chips to the inner sleeve of the cover and the inner rim supporting the percolator cylinder, otherwise slight manufacturing imperfections, otherwise generally in reasonable condition.
