Estimate £700-1,000

Old label stuck to base interior of bottom drawer "Samuel Levy, King William Street, Strand", possibly the maker/retailer.
There appears to be some fading to the colour in general. There are numerous scartches and indentations, with a few gauges to the top, one area in particlaur along the back. There is a small piece of veneer missing from the left edge of the top near the front and a larger piece of wood now missing from the base of the right side of the top section. The left side panel of the bottom section has a visible gap between the two planks due to shrinkage. This has also occurred to the panel of the left door, to the base panel of the bottom drawer and to the right side of the lower section. The doors do not close flush with the main body. There are some scuff marks to the wood on the front of the piece. No feet.
