Estimate £150-200
Watercolour on a pale buff coloured paper much of the paper is unpainted and it may have evenly discoloured, colours of the watercolour no doubt a little faded but still retain a fair strength notably the red, blues and greens, some light spotting showing towards the top left corner otherwise fair to good condition, signed in pencil lower right, in an old card mount with artists name upon it which is now looking rather tatty and a slim frame, old framers label for Gadsby of Lincoln.
Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to request a condition report on any lots upon which they intend to bid, prior to placing a bid. All transactions are governed by Gorringes Conditions of Sale.
