A George III fruitwood serpentine shaped knife box, with fitted interior, 9in.

Old minor scratches and indentations across the piece in general, conducive with age and use. Good colour. Old repair to the wood to the interior of the top rim of the base section, just above the escutcheon. A few visible scuffs to the left side of lid and base. Hairline split to the wood towards the front of the right side panel. Some old minor loss to the wood at the base of the rear left bracket foot. Generall overall condition is otherwise good.
