A Tibetan silver, jade, coral, malachite and turquoise mounted ritual jar and cover, 19th century, the baluster shaped body applied with scrolling dragons and ruyi shaped clouds between pale celadon jade plaques, two carved in high relief and openwork with chi-dragons, the other in low relief with a dragon, the domed cover embossed and chased with clouds and surmounted by a finial embossed with dragons amid ruyi shaped clouds, 25.5cm

Repair or replacement rim to the neck, one of the openwork jade plaques has been broken and well repaired, slight repair to cover at join of inner rim. Finial re-stuck, some of the stones are possibly replacements.
