A George IV mahogany extending dining table, with ropetwist legs and turned ball feet, W.3ft 8.5in., Extended length 10ft 5in.

This table looks to have been stripped and repolished within the past 10 years or so, colour is a slightly raw reddish mahogany lacking deep patina, the top has a number of fine surface nicks and scratches commensurate with normal wear and tear, one D end is slightly more faded than the rest and has a 9 inch hairline split running in from one side, brass clip fittings missing from some of the connections, underframe of similar colour and with similar fair wear and tear, overall a reasonable table that would benefit from a better state of polish.
