Oil on original canvas which remains fairly tight, paint very dirty and certainly in need of a good clean, one small indentation into the sky approx 2mm 6 inches diagonally in from the to right corner, a further small L shaped hole in the canvas 5 inches across and 2 inches down from the top right corner, this little L shaped tear is approx 3 x 3mm, otherwise a further knock dent down the bottom in the pink heather, these smallish holes will require patching and retouching, a fine but stable craquelure running through most of the paint, signed lower left, housed in its original gilt frame which is dusty and dirty but otherwise in tact and comes the title on the slip, old label verso for Lyttles Art Galleries of Exeter.
