A pair of late Victorian silver rectangular entree dishes and covers with handles, by Mappin & Webb with gadrooned borders and scrolling loop handles, Sheffield, 1894, 11.5in, 109 oz.

Both dishes are numbered 1 & 2 and the lids correspond. There is a little play with the lid on number two. Both sets have some light surface scratches, conducive with age and use. There is a small dent to lid number 2 and there is a dent to each side of the base of number 1. There is a personal inscription to the underside of each lid. Overall condition is otherwise good. Hallmarks clear.
